Documents required from citizens of the Republic of Turkey for traveling to TRNC:
• A valid Passport or Identity Card.
Documents required from citizens of the European Union and Schengen Area Countries for travelling to the TRNC:
• A valid Passport or National Identity Card.
Documents required from citizens of other countries for travelling to the TRNC:
• A valid Passport.
Validity of Travel Documents:
• Citizens of countries which do not have an Embassy, Consulate General, Consulate or Representative Office in the TRNC and citizens of the countries that are not members of the EU must have a passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months to be able to enter the TRNC.
• Citizens of countries that have an Embassy, Consulate General, Consulate or Representative Office in the TRNC and citizens of the EU countries must have a passport or travel document valid for at least 2 months to be able to enter TRNC.
Procedures for entry of foreigners to the TRNC:
Foreigners may be required to provide the following documents and information to the Immigration Officer at the port of entry:
• Proof of sufficient financial means to stay in the country and return home country
• Proof of accommodation in the country (hotel payment receipt, or name and address of the invitee)
• Foreigners must accurately and convincingly declare purpose of visit
• If travelling for internship, course or student exchange program, a formal letter from the inviting institution
• If traveling for higher education, an official acceptance letter from the university
• If visiting family, a letter of invitation which provides name, address, phone number and other contact information
• If traveling on a business trip, an official letter of invitation from a company in the TRNC
• If travelling for touristic purpose, a reservation or a rental document for the stays from 30 to 90 days.
Foreigners crossing to the TRNC from Southern Cyprus are also required to present the above mentioned documents/information

Before leaving the ports with a vehicle with TRNC number plate, it is obligatory to obtain an ” overseas vehicle exit permit” from the TRNC Tax Office Motor Vehicles Unit by applying in person or paying the exit fee online from the link below; Vehicle Exit Permits are valid for 1 month and make sure to get the permit within the last 30 days of your travel date. .

IMPORTANT :
– Persons who are not the vehicle owner and who will exit the vehicle with a notarised Power of Attorney MUST obtain the overseas vehicle exit permit by applying to the TRNC Tax Office Motor Vehicles Unit in person. Otherwise, the permit obtained online will not be valid.
– Driver of the vehicle may use TRNC ID card (that is new type and with a chip) when leaving with a vehicle and the ID number MUST be registered in the vehicle exit permit.
– Passengers who have a bank mortgage on their vehicle stubs must obtain a written document from the relevant bank stating the exit permit.
– Vehicle owners are obliged to have at least 1 month compulsory traffic insurance when entering Turkey. The relevant insurance policy can be bought at the customs area at the entrance to Turkey.
– Before returning to TRNC, owners of vehicles with foreign licence plates (including TRNC licence plates) must make sure to have paid any unpaid fines (traffic, bridge and road tolls) within Turkey because they will appear during the customs clearance process. You can make the payment through the “GIB application” on your phone. Vehicle owners who did not pay the fines will not be able to exit. You can pay these fines in cash only during working hours on weekdays at the port. Please take the precautions to avoid any inconvenience.

Foreign nationals and owners of foreign-registered and foreign-registered vehicles travelling to Turkey through the TRNC by passing through the land border gates of Southern Cyprus are required to request the G-104 form from the TRNC border gate in case they will travel to Turkey by exiting from the TRNC SeaPorts.

The carrier company will not be responsible for any damages to the vehicles during loading, unloading and travelling.

We carry your pet friends (cats, dogs and birds) free of charge on our trips. In order for your pets to travel comfortably and safely during the journey, they must be kept in a cage in which they can be comfortable and lie down.
We can only take your small pet in a cage in the indoor passenger lounges, and the maximum cage size that can be taken into the lounge is 105cm x 73cm x 79cm. Your oversized pet can travel in its cage on deck where the staff will show. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.

When entering Northern Cyprus with your pet;

You can bring your pet (cat, dog and bird) with you when entering Northern Cyprus via ports and airport.  According to the existing Green Line Regulation it is not allowed to move live animals between north and south part of Cyprus. Therefore, live animals can only be imported from North Cyprus ports/airport.

Passengers who wish to bring their pets to TRNC must obtain a “Pre-Import Permit Certificate” from the TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources Veterinary Department Directorate within 30 days before entering the island and submit it to our company before traveling and to the relevant officials upon arrival in TRNC. When entering Turkey with your pet;

It is possible for passengers to bring 2 pets and 10 fish with them exempt from customs duties. The definition of pets is limited and defined as “cats, dogs and birds”. The transaction is carried out on the condition that a veterinary health report, certificate of origin and vaccination, identity and description document, if any, is presented and veterinary control is carried out.
